The Role The Boorowa aggregation, which is a 5,300 hectare mixed livestock enterprise, is comprised of two properties: 'Springfield' and 'Suffolk Vale.' The aggregation carries a combined total of 14,500 ewe and 1,800 head of Angus cattle. This Livestock Overseer role is based at 'Springfield' (3,200 hectares), where the successful candidate will report directly to the Property Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations with a strong focus on livestock, pasture, and general property maintenance for the 'Springfield' portion of the enterprise. You will be involved in developing and implementing annual livestock plans, managing feeding programs, and overseeing all yard work and handling in a low-stress manner, ensuring optimal animal health and performance. While duties will include general machinery maintenance, pasture renovation, capital works projects, and assisting with junior staff supervision, these will not be the primary responsibilities of this Overseer position.
